With the exception of the EveryBody Coffin, and special orders for the Somerset Willow and the ARKA Ecopod, we don't sell retail except for out of our Natural Burial Company biodegradable coffin gallery, but we're happy to refer you to our affiliates in your area.

We offer wholesale discounts for reseller and volume purchases, and we don't restrict our wholesale sales to licensed funeral homes - death care guides, clergy, celebrants, cemeteries, co-ops, and others can sell our products to you at any time - but we STRONGLY RECOMMEND using an experienced funeral service provider (either home or conventional) or other consultant to assist you.

There are many things to discuss in planning a burial, cremation or funeral. Gone are the days when the flow of close-knit family and generations of tradition are on hand to guide the less-experienced. Today, most families live far apart and the details are often kept private (or even un-thought about!) til the last minute.

We encourage you to use a consultant, guide, or funeral director precisely because each end-of-life situation is unique and our product sales staff would not want to mis-inform you at any stage of the process.

PLEASE NOTE: WE DO NOT PROVIDE ANY RETAIL CUSTOMER SUPPORT WITH PLANNING OR ORGANIZING FUNERAL SERVICES
.

Experienced funeral service providers are trained in the use of caskets in your city or state, and they can supply you with this assistance.

Img0489WHERE CAN YOU GO for a Natural Burial?

Many folks wonder where they can get a natural burial. In the UK, over 200 woodland burial sites around the country now offer people a wide selection of opportunities for a natural end, where you can be buried without embalming, in a biodegradable casket, and "turn into a tree." We keep a growing list on our website.

A small but growing number of sites are available in the US and, while we don't have many official conservation cemeteries yet, you can make a natural start just by finding a cemetery that will accept your biodegradable casket without a outer liner or vault. Pioneer cemeteries may do this, as may private cemeteries who do not have to adhere to a corporate policy that needs vault sales for profit margins and landscape maintenance. Be sure to read the free online excerpt of "Be a Tree, the Manual for Turning Yourself into a Forest", to learn more about this exciting field.

No one is yet creating a comprehensive list of North American natural burial options. Forest of Memories has a list, but the group relies on cemeteries to self-identify, and many of the partial or less-than-perfect options are still not shown there. We keep a short list in the sidebar to the right of this article, and will develop something more comprehensive in the very near future.

IF YOU OFFER GREEN BURIAL, PLEASE LET US KNOW

If you learn of (or operate) a cemetery that offers liner-free, vault-free burials anywhere in the US or Canada but NOT in the Jewish section (since non-Jews are not allowed there)  please let us know - and submit the link to Forest of Memories, as well.
